“Photographs are just like pressing rewind back to those old days… and pausing for just a little while.” - unknown
Hi! I’m Lauren. I’m a mother and an artist, I love dogs, country living and I love photography. I can’t believe I get to call my passion ‘work!’
My journey in portraiture began with pencil and paint brush in high school where I was fascinated with drawing and painting portraits. Moving on from school, life took a different direction but after the birth of my first child in 2008, I picked up the camera and knew I had found a new calling.
Years later, another child, two King Charles Cavalier fur-babies, countless workshops and courses, a big move to the country, and a plethora of gorgeous clients—I cannot imagine life any other way!
Photograph’s are one of the few tangible ways to remember moments in time and our loved ones just as they are.
Tomorrow may not come, and that is why it’s so important to exist in photographs and not just stand behind the camera. I’m all about making special connections with people, and I truly adore my clients. I look forward to hopefully meeting you soon and making a new friend!

My home studio is located in the North-East suburb of Hurstbridge—a scenic 20-minute drive from the Metropolitan Ring Road (Greensborough exit). Nestled amongst the boscage and native animals, you will fee instantly relaxed when you arrive. I have all you need to create your perfect photoshoot with clothing, blankets and various accessories on hand. Many of my products are on display at the studio for clients to browse and sample.
I love photographing outdoors during the warmer months of the year. It is ideal to schedule outdoor sessions in the late afternoon as the sun is setting. It works perfectly to achieve that golden glow for your photographs. Furthermore, we are spoilt for choice in this beautiful city! I do have some favourite locations including Eltham, Diamond Creek, Warrandyte and the Banyule Flats in Viewbank. If you have a favourite location, I am certainly happy to come and explore!
